West Ewell and Ruxley Residents’ Association have many different channels that we use to keep residents informed of local issues. For many years now we have provided a newsletter to residents which is delivered by volunteers to ever home in West Ewell and Ruxley. We provide three newsletters a year free of charge. This is funded by our advertisers and our members. Please consider supporting us, membership is just £2 per year per household. For details on becoming a member please see this page for more details.
WERRA hold committee meetings on the first wednesday of the month. Members are invited to attend the first part of the meeting, we just ask that you let our secretary know so that we can alter the agenda.
WERRA run and attend wards across Epsom and Ewell. We try to run a couple of litter picks throughout the year and we can also be found at Ewell Court Residents’ Association Duck Race.
We do have a digital newsletter which we send around the time of our paper newsletter being ready for delivery or when we have import events upcoming. You can sign up to the newsletter by visiting our home page and entering your email address on the right hand side.
Our website is built on the wordpress platform. There are applications available for smart phones that allows you to ‘sign up’ to our site and be notified of any new articles that we release. If you have not got a smart phone you can create a wordpress account and ‘follow’ our site.
Our website supports RSS feeds. These feeds contain details about articles that can be read in an rss reader. You can save these feeds to your favourites or you can use a feed aggregator such as Feedly. For the more advanced users, you can even have the feed sent to your eReader to read on the train in the morning.
To access the WERRA feed visit http://westewellandruxley.org.uk/feed.
We have a presence on both Facebook and Twitter. These sites make it extremely easy for us to share local content that has been made by others. We also post a notification about any new articles we release on our website. The links to our Facebook and Twitter sites can be found in the menu on the right of this page.
