Councillor Jan Mason has been chasing Surrey County Council concerning the resurfacing of roads that were meant to be resurfaced under the previous Project Horizon. Previously Councillor Mason was able to use an allowance provided to her to address local issues such as these however this has been stopped by Surrey County Council. The roads involved are Gatley Avenue, Jasmin Road and Hogsmill Way.
So far Councillor Mason has been informed that Gatley Avenue is on a provisional list for 2018/19. This list remains provisional and no guarantee that it will actually make it on to the project. The best that can be hoped for with Hogsmill Way at the moment is 2019/20 and Councillor Mason is still waiting for further information regarding Jasmin Road.
